AUTOPAY TERMS & CONDITIONS

By agreeing to the Echo Credit Optional Payment Authorization (the "Authorization"), you are authorizing Echo Credit to debit the bank account you designate (the "Designated Account") via Automated Clearing House (“ACH”) or Remotely Created Check (“RCC”) each billing cycle to pay automatically the amount shown on your Echo Credit Line of Credit statement. The amount of the debit will be the minimum amount due as calculated by the terms of your Credit Agreement.

Echo Credit will advise you in writing (by a “payment reminder” communication and by delivering a billing statement) of the amount and date of the payment that will be automatically debited. To receive confirmation of the debit transfer taking place, you may log on to your account online at www.echocredit.com or call Echo Credit at 877-606-1340.

  • You understand that each such debit will occur on the date specified on the billing statement. You agree that unless you notify Echo Credit to stop or adjust the amount of the debit, in accordance with the procedures set forth in the Authorization, Echo Credit is authorized to debit the funds from the Designated Account in the amount of the minimum payment due. You will ensure that there are sufficient funds in the Designated Account on the specified debit date to pay the amount of the debit.

  • You understand that if your account is closed and there is an outstanding balance on the account, Echo Credit will continue to automatically debit your Designated Account unless you terminate your Authorization in accordance with the procedures set forth in the Termination of Authorization section below. If you close your Designated Account, you agree to notify us beforehand to enable us to stop initiating debit transactions and will arrange for an alternate method of making your payments.

  • Debit Card Use & Payments

A debit card is required to obtain an Echo line of Credit. By providing your debit card, you authorize us to validate your debit card information with a $0.01 debit transaction that will be credited back to you. The $0.01 validation result may be used to underwrite your credit application.

If you agree to the Optional Payment Authorization, and you fail to make a complete scheduled payment on time, Echo Credit may additionally use your debit card information to collect past due payment(s).

If you do not have a debit card, please call an Echo Credit Guide at 1-877-606-1340.

  • Additional Payments.

If you would like to make a payment in addition to the automated payment amount you have selected, you may do so by logging into your account at www.echocredit.com, by calling Echo Credit at 877-606-1340 or another means such as a check.

  • Stop Payment Orders/Adjustments:

If you want to stop an automated payment via ACH, RCC, or Debit Card, you can do so by calling Customer Service at 1-877-606-1340, or writing to Echo Credit, P.O. Box 42994, Philadelphia, PA 19101. Your request must be received by Echo Credit at least three (3) business days before a delinquent payment or the scheduled debit date on your billing statement.

  • Termination of Authorization:

You may terminate your Authorization by calling Echo Credit at 1-877-606-1340 and specifying which payment method you would like to terminate. Echo Credit must receive your request at least three (3) business days before a delinquent payment or the scheduled debit date specified on your billing statement.

For purposes of the Program, business days are Monday through Friday. Holidays are not included. If the scheduled debit date is on a weekend or banking holiday, the debit will be made on the next business day.

As a responsible lender, we commit to you that this loan product abides by all applicable laws and that we strive for the utmost level of transparency and fairness.

Not for all financial needs: This loan is designed to help with your immediate cash needs. It will not solve your long-term needs and refinancing will result in additional charges. We encourage you to (1) borrow only what you need and can repay and (2) shop the marketplace until you are convinced that you have found the best possible solution. You may choose to consult a consumer credit counseling service for other options.

Transparency of costs for your line of credit: The cost of credit will be clearly disclosed to you in terms of the dollar amount of interest and the APR according to the federal truth in lending law and regulations. For details on the specific costs of your loan, please see our Pricing page and your Credit Agreement. We will never charge you any "hidden fees".

Implications of late and non-payment: If you don't make a payment on time we will attempt to contact you via one or more authorized methods, including phone calls, emails, and text messages to arrange for payment. All of our collections methods will be in accordance with the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). In addition, we may re-present any returned payments to your bank in accordance with applicable law and regulatory requirements. If we are unable to reach you or we are unable to collect against your debt we may place or sell your debt with third-party collection agencies. However, we only contract with collection agencies that agree to follow the FDCPA. Furthermore, since we may report loan payments to one or more credit bureaus, late or non-payment of your debt may impact your credit rating.

We respect your privacy: We adhere to all applicable privacy laws. Please see Privacy Disclosure for details.

Contacting us: We always provide a physical address, a toll-free phone number, and an email address so that you can reach us in the most convenient manner for you. We strive to respond to your mail, calls, and email in as fast a manner as possible so we can quickly answer any questions and solve any problems you might have. Please see Contact Us for details.
